NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Dom Polski Society Co-Op Ltd
2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on
Sunday November 15 2026 at 3:00PM in the
Dom Polski Centre, 230 Angas Street Adelaide.
Registrations Commence at 2:00 pm

In accordance with Rule 39 of the Society, notice is hereby given that the three retiring directors are L. Nowak, Z. Brzezinski and B. Harla. All members who meet the requirements of an active member may nominate for election as a director. The duties and responsibilities of a director are outlined in the Rules of the Dom Polski Society Co-Op Ltd, a copy of which is available from the Dom Polski Office. There is no remuneration for directors.

Director nomination forms are available from the Dom Polski Office or can be forwarded via email. Correctly completed nomination forms must be lodged in person or by Australia Post at the Dom Polski Office by 5:00 pm, Sunday 25 October 2026.

Proxy forms are available to active members from the Dom Polski Office or can be emailed on request. Proxy forms must be lodged by 4:00 pm, Friday 13 November 2026.

Please note the Dom Polski Arts Club Inc AGM will be held at 5:00 pm, immediately following the Society’s AGM. As both organisations are mutually dependent, a consolidated statement of accounts is also available.

Business at the AGM

(a) To confirm the minutes of the last preceding general meeting;
(b) To receive from the Board, auditors or any officers of the co-operative reports on the transactions of the co-operative during the financial year, including the balance sheet, trading account, profit and loss account, statement of cash flows, and the state of affairs at the end of that year;
(c) To appoint LVM Audits as auditor;
(d) To elect directors;
(e) To transact any special business of which notice has been given to members in accordance with these Rules.
